Case History A Local Contractor received 2d plans from an Architect and was having some difficulty visualizing the complex beam structure as well has the even more confusing steel brackets. I built 3d models of the structure and brackets from the Architects 2d plan and elevation files - found some errors and made corrections. I also modeled the brackets - fixed a few more errors and printed 1:1 plans of the metal parts that he used to fabricate the steel brackets.
